Endau-Rompin National Park straddles the border of Johor and Pahang in southern Peninsular Malaysia, protecting a lowland swamp rainforest of exceptional age estimated at over 248 million years. The Upeh Guling waterfall cascade and the Buaya Sangkut falls are the most visited natural features, both reachable by river boat and forest trail. The park is a stronghold for the critically endangered Sumatran rhinoceros, although sightings are exceedingly rare.
