Taman Negara protects one of the world's oldest tropical rainforests, estimated to be over 130 million years old, spanning three Malaysian states. The canopy walkway at Kuala Tahan, suspended up to 45 metres above the forest floor, is among the longest in the world and provides unrivalled access for wildlife observation and photography. Rivers threading through the park offer boat journeys into the interior where tigers, elephants, and clouded leopards roam.
