A mountain resort complex rising to around 1,500 metres above sea level west of Đà Nẵng, Bà Nà Hills is reached via a cable car that holds several world records for span and elevation gain. At the summit, a recreated French colonial village sits alongside a Buddhist complex, gardens, and the widely photographed Golden Bridge — a pedestrian walkway appearing to be cradled in two enormous stone hands emerging from the hillside. Morning clouds frequently envelope the upper station, creating a dramatic atmospheric effect.
