Occupying the southern tip of the Hengchun Peninsula, Kenting is Taiwan's oldest and southernmost national park, encompassing coral reef coastline, tropical forest, grassland plateau, and the calcareous terrain of the Hengchun tablelands. The Eluanbi Lighthouse — perched on a coral promontory at Taiwan's southernmost extremity — is a landmark of the park, and the offshore reefs support snorkelling and diving accessible from multiple beaches.
