Poon Hill is a viewpoint at 3,210 metres in the Annapurna foothills, reached on the short Ghorepani-Poon Hill trek typically completed in four to five days. The summit observation deck is one of Nepal's most photographed sunrise locations, offering a broad panorama that includes Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, and Hiunchuli illuminated in alpenglow. The surrounding rhododendron forests bloom in vivid red and pink during March and April, adding colour to trail photography.
