Abu Dhabi Corniche

A manicured eight-kilometre waterfront promenade running along the western coastline of Abu Dhabi island, the Corniche provides continuous views across the Arabian Gulf toward open water and the distant silhouettes of offshore islands. A designated public beach section offers calm swimming in shallow Gulf waters. The promenade is most atmospheric in the late afternoon, when the high-rise backdrop is cast in warm light and the sea breeze makes walking comfortable.
