Kravice is a horseshoe-shaped travertine waterfall on the Trebižat River in southern Herzegovina, where the water drops about 26 metres over a curved edge into a large pool rimmed by tufa formations and dense vegetation. The green colour of the pool water and the lush vegetation surrounding it create an unexpected landscape in an otherwise arid karst region. Swimming is permitted in the pool below the falls, and the site is accessible from Mostar as a day trip.
