Accessible only by a two-hour trail through the limestone karst of the Gennargentu foothills or by boat, Cala Goloritzé is a small cove on the eastern Sardinian coast where a natural stone arch and a striking limestone spire rise from brilliant emerald water. The pebble beach and the geometry of the surrounding cliffs have made this a benchmark for Sardinian coastal photography. The site is a protected natural monument with restricted access in peak summer.
