At 1,754 metres, Misurina is the highest lake in the Cadore region and one of the largest in the Dolomites. The surrounding peaks—Sorapiss, Cristallo, and the distant Tre Cime—reflect in the still surface during calm mornings. A perimeter road makes the lake accessible by car, and the village of Misurina at its eastern shore provides accommodation for multi-day stays.
