Known in German as the Karersee, this small mountain lake in the Nova Levante area reflects the spruce forest and the Latemar peaks with unusual chromatic intensity—its water ranges from turquoise to deep green depending on light and season. The reflection of the surrounding forest creates a mirror-like surface that rewards photographers working in the two hours after sunrise. A short paved path loops the perimeter.
