The Bandama Caldera is a volcanic crater roughly one kilometre in diameter and 200 metres deep located in the northeastern interior of Gran Canaria, accessible from the Pico de Bandama viewpoint above. The crater floor supports a lone farmhouse and remnant cultivation terraces, while the crater rim affords sweeping views over the island toward Las Palmas and the coast. The contrast between the green interior and the surrounding arid plateau is visually striking.
