Tamariu is a small cove village on the Costa Brava in Girona province, sheltered between two wooded headlands and fronted by some of the clearest water on the Spanish Mediterranean coast. The settlement remains deliberately low-scale, without high-rise development, and the surrounding coastal paths connect to adjacent coves accessible only on foot or by kayak. It is widely regarded as one of the best-preserved spots on the Costa Brava.
