Kemeri National Park

A national park near the Latvian coast combining the Great Kemeri Bog — a raised mire with a well-marked boardwalk trail — with coastal dunes, forest, and wetlands of international ornithological importance. The bog trail leads to a wooden observation tower offering a panoramic view across an unbroken expanse of hummock peat, sedge pools, and bog pine. The park is close enough to Jūrmala and Riga to be visited as a day trip.
