Hiiumaa

Estonia's second-largest island, the least densely populated and one of the least visited of the major Baltic islands, valued for undisturbed forests, coastal meadows, and the historic Kõpu Lighthouse — one of the oldest continually operating lighthouses in the world, built in the early 16th century. The island's low relief and minimal light pollution make it suitable for stargazing. Traditional crafts and a distinctive island culture have been maintained by a small permanent population.
