A small village at the southwestern tip of Moskenesøya and at the end of the E10 highway through Lofoten, often noted for having the shortest place name in Norway. The village is compact and well-preserved, with a working fish rack, a Norwegian Fishing Village Museum, and an intact set of traditional rorbu cabins clustered around a small harbour. It marks the practical end of the road through the Lofoten chain.
