Dynjandi is a cascade series in the Westfjords region, its main fan-shaped fall dropping roughly 100 metres in a widening curtain from a highland plateau edge. Several smaller falls descend in steps below the principal cascade, and the 2.5-kilometre approach trail passes each one in turn. The remote location means the site is less crowded than Iceland's better-known waterfalls despite its dramatic scale.
