This 60-metre waterfall drops from the edge of a former sea cliff along Iceland's Ring Road, and a narrow trail passes behind the curtain of water, offering an unusual reverse perspective on the cascade. Late summer evenings provide long golden light that turns the mist into a luminous veil. The path behind the falls becomes icy and is closed in winter for safety.
