Taman Tasik Permaisuri is a spacious lakeside park in the Cheras area of southern Kuala Lumpur, built around a large lake fringed by wetlands and landscaped gardens. Its terraced flowerbeds, palm avenues and open lawns make it popular for morning exercise, and a hilltop viewpoint looks out over the water toward the distant skyline. Aquatic plants and reedy margins support birdlife, giving the park an ecological dimension. Quieter than the central parks, it serves the surrounding residential districts as green space.
