The Grand Jamia Mosque in the Bahria Town development on the outskirts of Karachi is a sprawling contemporary mosque completed in the late 2010s. Built in a Mughal-inspired style, it centres on a large dome flanked by tall minarets and encloses expansive marble courtyards. Ornamental fountains, arched galleries and detailed tilework decorate the grounds, and its capacity ranks it among the largest mosques in the country. As the centrepiece of a planned township, it draws worshippers from across the Karachi region.
