Ngatpang Falls, also called Tabecheding, lies in the state of Ngatpang on Palau's large island of Babeldaob, reached by a jungle trail that crosses streams and forest. The falls spill in a broad, gentle sheet over rock ledges into a wide pool suited to swimming, quieter and more accessible than the taller cascades elsewhere on the island. The surrounding rainforest is rich in native plants and birds. As one of several waterfalls opened up by Babeldaob's ring road, it offers travellers a rewarding inland excursion away from the Rock Islands.
