Parque de la 93 is a landscaped urban park in the affluent Chicó area of northern Bogotá, ringed by restaurants, offices and hotels. Laid out in the 1990s, its lawns, walkways and central fountain host open-air concerts, food fairs and a well-known December light display. The park has become a social hub for the surrounding business district, busy at lunchtime and in the evenings. Its manicured greenery and dense café scene offer a contrast to the colonial character of the older southern neighbourhoods.
