A small game reserve in the Khomas Hochland hills just west of Windhoek, offering easily accessible wildlife viewing close to the capital. Its rolling terrain of grassland and dry scrub supports mountain zebra, kudu, oryx, springbok and abundant birdlife, and the absence of large predators allows walking trails through the bush. A dam and rest camp provide picnic and overnight facilities. The reserve is a favoured weekend escape for city residents and gives visitors a compact introduction to the fauna of the central highlands.
