Dubai Mall

One of the largest shopping and entertainment complexes in the world, at the foot of the Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai. Beyond its hundreds of stores, it contains an aquarium, an indoor ice rink, a large cinema and numerous restaurants, drawing enormous numbers of visitors each year. Outside, it opens onto the plaza with the choreographed fountain show. More than a retail centre, it functions as a climate-controlled destination in its own right, and its scale and range of attractions have made it a defining feature of modern Dubai.
