Al Khobar Corniche

A long landscaped waterfront promenade running along the Arabian Gulf in the city of Al Khobar in the Eastern Province. Lined with lawns, fountains, walking paths and play areas, it looks out across the water toward the causeway to Bahrain. In the cooler evenings it fills with families picnicking, joggers and strollers enjoying the sea breeze. Cafes and restaurants edge the route, and the wide open lawns host public gatherings and festivals, making the corniche the main outdoor social space of the coastal city.
