A large forest park south of New Ross, planted as a living memorial to the president whose ancestors emigrated from the district. It holds thousands of species of trees and shrubs from around the world, arranged in botanical collections across gently rolling ground. A viewing point on Slieve Coillte crowns the park with panoramas over the Barrow valley. Waymarked trails, a lake and a visitor centre make it a popular spot for walking and family outings, close to the ancestral homestead of the Kennedy family.
