A full-scale replica of an 1840s emigrant sailing ship, moored on the quayside at New Ross and dedicated to the story of famine-era emigration. Costumed guides play passengers and crew as visitors descend into the cramped steerage deck where families endured weeks of Atlantic crossing. The original vessel carried thousands from this port to North America. Exhibits ashore trace individual emigrant stories and the wider exodus, making the ship a focal point for the region's diaspora heritage on the banks of the Barrow.
