A small chapel tucked into a ravine near the harbour, dedicated to the patron saint of Monaco whose relics are venerated there. According to tradition a boat carrying the martyr's remains was guided ashore at this spot, and each January a symbolic boat is burned in the square outside during her feast. The modest stone building sits below the railway viaduct, close to the start of the Grand Prix circuit. Its intimate scale contrasts with the grander monuments of the principality.
