Aghoghlan Monastery

A medieval Caucasian Albanian monastery church of finely dressed stone standing in a mountain valley of the Lesser Caucasus. Its cruciform plan and carved details reflect the region's early Christian heritage. Grassy slopes and streams surround the ruin.
