The Trang Islands are a group of islands off the Trang Province coast in the southern Andaman Sea, including Ko Ngai, Ko Kradan, Ko Muk, Ko Cheuk, and others within Mu Ko Phetra National Park. Ko Kradan is recognised for clear water and a relatively intact coral reef accessible directly from its beach. Ko Muk contains the Emerald Cave, a sea tunnel navigable only by swimming through a 80-metre dark passage that opens into an enclosed lagoon with a sandy beach and vertical walls — a formation accessible only at certain tides. The islands are less developed than the Phi Phi or Samui groups.
