This concert and congress centre in Tampere, opened in 1990, is the largest of its kind in the Nordic countries and home to the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra. Its modern architecture, faced in white and glass, houses a large main auditorium alongside smaller halls used for conferences and events. The building includes a museum devoted to the Moomin characters created by author Tove Jansson. Set in a park near the lakeside city centre, it serves as a hub for orchestral music, congresses and cultural events in Finland's second-largest city.
